Privacy policy

Last updated September 30, 2026

Tidy Sushi (listed as Tidy Sushi: Sort Puzzle) is made by Gordon Tucker, an independent developer in Utah, United States. This policy explains how information is handled when you play, visit these pages, or contact me.

Your choices

The campaign does not require a game account. Sharing gameplay statistics is optional. The game does not request GPS or device location permission.

Information on your device

The game saves progress, settings, coins, supplies, purchase entitlements, and privacy choices on your device. A randomly generated installation identifier supports optional statistics.

Exported backups contain game progress and leave the app when you choose where to save or share them. Your device backup provider may also back up app data under your settings. I do not operate a separate server that receives your game saves.

Optional gameplay statistics

In builds that offer Share statistics, enabling it sends GameAnalytics an installation identifier, game version, session and technical information, and gameplay events such as levels started, completed, failed, or abandoned, with time played and attempt information. These help me understand difficulty and improve the game. Network requests also expose technical information such as an IP address to the provider.

The game's analytics integration does not send your name, email, Apple account, advertising identifier, full save, or purchase events. Statistics are associated with an installation, so they are not completely anonymous.

You can change Share statistics in the game's privacy settings when available. Turning it off stops new submissions; it does not automatically erase information already sent. See GameAnalytics’ privacy information for the provider’s handling of game data.

Advertisements

Ad-enabled versions use Unity LevelPlay and enabled advertising networks, including Unity Ads and, where enabled, ironSource Ads. Ads may appear between levels, and you can choose to watch optional ads for rewards.

Depending on the service and permissions, providers may process device or installation identifiers, IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP, ad views and interactions, app usage, and technical or performance information. They use this information to deliver and measure ads, maintain their services, and prevent fraud. See Unity’s Game Player and App User Privacy Policy for provider practices, retention, and privacy controls.

The current integration requests nonpersonalized ads, sends a sale/sharing opt-out, and does not request Apple tracking authorization. Providers still process information for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention; nonpersonalized ads do not mean no information is collected. Approximate location inferred from IP does not require GPS permission.

Optional statistics are a separate choice from ads. You choose whether to watch each reward ad. Where offered, Remove Ads removes automatic between-level ads; optional reward ads may remain available. This website contains no advertising or tracking scripts.

Purchases

Where in-app purchases are offered, Apple processes App Store payments. The game and its purchase service use transaction and entitlement information to unlock what you bought and restore eligible purchases. I do not receive your payment card details. Apple may provide sales, transaction, and financial reports for managing the business. See Apple’s privacy information.

Support and this website

If you email me, I receive your email address, message, and any attachments you send. I use them to answer you and investigate the issue. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.

When you visit this website, its Amazon Web Services hosting and security services process network requests, which can include IP addresses, requested pages, browser information, and timestamps, to deliver and protect the site. These pages do not set analytics cookies, use local storage, embed social widgets, or load external fonts.

Why information is used and shared

I use information to provide requested features and support, improve the game with optional statistics, manage purchases, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Where a legal basis is required, these purposes rely on performing our agreement, consent for optional statistics and other processing requiring consent, legitimate interests in support and security, or legal obligations, as applicable.

Information is shared with the providers described above as needed for those features. It may also be disclosed when legally required or necessary to protect people's rights or security. I do not sell support messages or game saves to data brokers. Ad-provider practices are described separately above; sharing for advertising can have a broader meaning under local privacy laws.

Retention and security

Local progress remains until you reset it or remove app data, although privacy preferences, purchase records, and backups can remain separately. I retain support correspondence while needed to resolve your request, follow up, or satisfy legal obligations, and delete or de-identify it when no longer needed for those purposes.

Analytics and advertising information follows provider retention settings and policies. Disabling a feature or uninstalling the game does not itself delete provider-held records. Reasonable safeguards help protect information, but no system is completely secure.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of certain advertising sharing. You may also be able to complain to your local data protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Email tidysushi@gordontucker.com to make a request or ask for help with provider-held data. I may need enough information to verify the request and locate relevant records. Your email alone may not identify installation-based statistics. I will explain what can be located and help direct requests to the relevant provider. You can also use Apple’s and Unity’s privacy controls directly.

Audience and international processing

Tidy Sushi is intended for players aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without required parental consent, contact me so I can investigate and take appropriate steps. Where parental consent is required for optional data collection, it must be obtained before enabling that collection.

I am based in the United States. Service providers may process information in other countries, whose laws may differ from yours. Applicable protections and transfer arrangements depend on the provider and the law; linked provider policies explain their arrangements.

Changes and contact

I may update this policy as the game or services change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be brought to your attention where required.
